This project was in service of multiple objectives, including boosting alumni engagement, facilitating meaningful connections, and effectively showcasing the institution’s commitment to industry-leading design experiences. Key features integrated into the portal encompassed a geographical mapping system, powerful search functionalities, customizable user profiles, complex data synchronization, seamless integration with an on-campus gallery wall, and a user-friendly onboarding experience.

The launch of the Alumni Portal marked a pivotal turning point, as it brought forth a wave of promising outcomes that reverberated throughout the ArtCenter community. Perhaps the most striking of these achievements was the enthusiasm and increased engagement amongst alumni. The portal served as a catalyst, forging authentic connections and nurturing interactions among alumni, transcending geographical barriers. With an interactive map-based alumni discovery feature that seemed effortlessly navigable despite its complexity, the portal meaningfully linked ArtCenter’s distributed alumni base, breathing life into a profoundly influential and impactful international network.

Further, the integration of Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge brought a newfound sense of precision capacity for the Art Center administration, ensuring that communication efforts were not only effective but also perfectly targeted based on refined data sets and navigation. Having up-to-date information from alumni allowed the Art Center team the ability to maintain contact with their alumni for more robust and targeted communication.
